Written May 28, 1805 & Proved Nov 7, 1805 This is the last Will and Testament of John Cullen of Upton in the County of Nottingham, Farmer, First I will that all my just Debts and Funeral Expences be paid and discharged as soon as conveniently may be after my Decease by my Executor and Executrix hereinafter named, Also I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Elizabeth Taylor the Wife of Samuel Taylor, of Upton aforesaid Labourer, the sum of Fifteen Pounds; Also to my Daughter Ann Cullen the sum of Twenty Pounds; Also to my Daughter Sarah Cullen the sum of Twenty Pounds; Also to my Son Thomas Cullen the sum of Fifty Pounds; Also to my Daughter Mary Cullen the sum of Twenty Pounds; Also to my Son Benjamin Cullen Twenty Pounds; Also to my Son Joseph Cullen the sum of Twenty Pounds; Also to my Daughter Frances Cullen the sum of Twenty Pounds; Also to my Daughter Jane Cullen the sum of Twenty Pounds; And with respect to the Rest, Remainder, and Residue of my personal Estate I will that it be vested in my dearly beloved Wife Mary Cullen and my Son John Cullen to be equally enjoyed betwixt them so long as they can agree to live together, But in case they should disagree with respect to their living together, then and in that case I will that my said dearly beloved Wife shall have an allowance of Twenty Pounds a Year, to be paid by Quarterly Payments during her natural Life. Also my mind and will is that the respective Legacies of such of my said Children as may not be arrived at the Age of Twenty one at the time of my Decease; shall be paid at such time as they shall severally arrive at the said Age of Twenty one Years, But in case any of them should happen to die before they arrive at the said Age of Twenty one Years, I will that the share of him, her, or them, so dying shall be equally divided betwixt my Sons Benjamin and Joseph and my said Daughters Elizabeth Taylor Ann Cullen Sarah Cullen Mary Cullen Frances Cullen and Jane Cullen or the Survivor or Survivors of them Share and Share alike. Also I do hereby constitute and appoint my said dearly beloved Wife Mary Cullen and my said Son John Cullen the joint Executrix and Executor of this my last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal, this Twenty eighth Day of May, in the Year of our Lord one thousand Eight Hundred and Five.
