John Cullen, Yeoman of Upton. His mentions several family members including his wife Frances and four children; Frances, Mary, and Gervas. There is a marriage of John Cullen & Frances Barcot, both of Upton, at Oxton by license, on Oct 7, 1639. John was buried June 14, 1696, at St Peter & St Paul's Church in Upton. We also have a record of Frances Cullen, widow, also buried in Upton, on May 12, 1700.

In the name of God Amen I John Cullen of Upton in the county of Nott yeom doe make my last Will & Testamt in maner & form following That is to say ffirst my Will is that the Oxgang of land wch formerly I settled upon my Daughtr Frances Barrett shall still remain & abide upon her and her heirs for ever And as for my personall estate I give & bequeath as followeth ffirst I give unto Frances my dear Wife ffive shillings of lawfull money of England to be paid within one year next after my diseas Item I give unto Mary Cullen my daughtr in Law one shilling to be paid as aforesaid Item I give unto her three Children Mary Cullen Gervas Cullen and Francis Cullen one shilling apiece to be paid to them as aforesaid And all the rest of my psonall estate I give unto Gervas Cullen my son of whom I make Sole Executrix of this my last Will & Testamt after my debts & funerall charges be paid In wittens whereof I have hereunto put my hand & Seale this 8th day of June Anno Dom 1696 John Cullen Sealed & published in the psence of John Cullen X his mark George Cullin O his mark Tho: Cullin Wm Barrett.
