To the best of your ability, answer the following questions by selecting the answer that best applies to your Cullen Family. It is preferred that you answer the questions before studying the results obtained by others. Be objective and try to give answers that reflect the common traits of as many generations of Cullen ancestors as possible. Due to the detailed knowledge required by some of the questions, it is permissible to use your immediate family as the basis for your answers. If the Cullens are as cohesive as we believe, then we should still find parallels. Send me your list of answers in an email with the words 'Cullen Test' in the subject line and let me know what nickname you'd like to use to identify your results. In the event that no nickname is provided I can substitute an abbreviated notation of your email address that you will be able to recognize but will not be usable to actually contact you via email. This will protect your privacy until you decide on a nickname.

The Cullen Test is divided into four sections: Physical Attributes (questions P1 thru P10), Personality & Ego (questions E1 thru E5), Social Interaction (questions S1 thru S4), and Mental Abilities (question M1 thru M5). That's a total of twenty four questions.

In the event that none of the answers for a given question apply, respond with X) Other and explain. The test can be changed if necessary to include your response as one of the possible choices. The test is new and in a trial phase so I expect that there will be some changes with time.


THE CULLEN TEST

PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES: P1-P10


P1) Physical Build:
A) Slender.
B) Slender but with surprising strength.
C) Nothing to note regarding build. About average.
D) Stocky build and much stronger than one would think.
E) Heavy build.


P2) Estimated Average Height:
A) Five and a half foot or less.
B) Just over five and a half foot.
C) Usually just an inch or two under six foot.
D) Six foot or a little over.
E) Well over six foot.


P3) Physical Aging:
A) Tend to show our age early and we're not usually physically active.
B) Tend to show our age early but are normally physically active.
C) Normal aging and normal physical activity.
D) Age somewhat slowly and usually pretty active physically.
E) Tend to age slowly and we're very active throughout life.


P4) Cullen boys are usually born with... :
A) Blonde hair that stays blonde through life.
B) Blonde or sandy hair that turns to brown or darker with age.
C) Reddish or fair-haired, turning darker with age.
D) Dark brown or black hair.


P5) Cullen boys usually have hair that is... :
A) Tight small curls.

PERSONALITY & EGO: E1-E5


E1) Humor:
A) Very businesslike and serious. Any humor is surprising and is often taken the wrong way.
B) Usually serious, but the occasional interjection of humor is appreciated.
C) No outstanding qualities of humor or seriousness.
D) Capable and serious but frequent humor is expected. Easily see the funny side.
E) Capable but rarely serious. Always a smile, frequent humor.


E2) Stubbornness:
A) Very stubborn, regardless if we are right or wrong.
B) Very stubborn, when we believe we are in the right.
C) Stubborn but, if someone is convincing, we are obliged to adopt their views.
D) Not too stubborn; we can change our minds easily after talking to others.
E) Not too stubborn at all; we take our opinions from others if they make sense.


E3) Temperament:
A) Laid back, slow to anger, not holding any grudges.
B) Laid back, slow to anger but grudges are held for a very long time.
C) Somewhat laid back, usually slow to anger, but holding no grudges.
D) Tense, fiery, usually quick to anger but don't hold grudges very long.
E) Tense, fiery, quick to anger and quick to hold grudges a long time.


E4) Sense of Justice:
A) It's a tough world. Life is not always fair. We do what we have to.
B) Occasionally injustice bothers us and so we make extra efforts in fairness.
C) We try to be fair and help those suffering injustice when we can.
D) We sacrifice at times to be fair. Tend to stand up for those suffering injustice.
E) Sacrifice much in the name of fairness and justice. We're the first to respond.


E5) Leadership:
A) We tend to be good followers. We do not usually strive to be leaders.
B) We are followers but work with and sometimes give advice to leaders, instead of being leaders ourselves.
C) We're not followers and not leaders. We blaze our own trails.
D) We strive to be leaders, giving others direction. Could be followers if we had to.
E) We are leaders. We do not take direction. We give it.



SOCIAL INTERACTION: S1-S4

A) Only a few close friends over periods of time.

C) Nothing out of the ordinary regarding closeness of the family.

MENTAL ABILITIES: M1-M5


M1) Preferred Occupation:
A) Public Service such as policeman, fireman, military.
B) Transportation related such as buslines, railroads, trucking, driver.
C) Trades such as construction, stoneworking, building.
D) Other skilled trades such as welding, electrician, tool & die.
E) Administrative work, office, secretarial.
F) Government, political.
G) Technical, electricial, computer, research.
H) Teaching, social services, church related.


M2) Problem Solving:
A) If the solution is not immediately evident, we tend to miss it.
B) With effort we may find solutions to some tricky problems.
C) About average. Nothing spectacular but we get our problems solved.
D) Fairly persistent and thorough, usually resulting in success.
E) Noted to be exceptionally intense and comprehensive, finding solutions others missed.


M3) Intelligence and Mental Abilities:
A) Nothing oustanding, one or two above average examples in the family.
B) About average. Can excel with effort and much study.
C) Above average. Excels in school with little or no effort.
D) Above average. Self-starter. Surprising abilities even at an early age.
E) Superior intelligence clearly beyond the normal almost from birth.


M4) Natural Abilities - The Arts:

M5) Natural Abilities - The Sciences:
A) Nothing to note but some technical abilities are known to develop.
B) Can develop math, science, or technical skills with study.
C) Easily absorb technical or scientific concepts and easily comprehend applicable equations.
D) Excel in math/science/technical fields and even extend the field with our own ideas.
E) Develop scientific or technical concepts from scratch and apply advanced mathematics to quantify theories.
